Many Dynamics NAV customers, even those not classed as 'retailers' will have retail outlets to support their main business channel e.g many .com companies also have retail stores.  They may support their business with a webshop or B2B business, but primarily they retail through retail stores. 

Supporting companies in a number of ways:

  • Where a separate EPoS and retail solution is in use, transactions are passed to the retail integration tables within Dynamics NAV. The information is then summarised and then posted to update stock and record payments by type i.e. card, cash, vouchers, etc.
  • Core Dynamics NAV functions are used to replenish stores through transferring stock from a central warehouse or by the usual purchasing processes.
  • Store stock control is managed by deploying a handheld or tablet device, or by providing access to NAV (using the Web Client, SharePoint Client or NAV Client). The store can then access information and functions such as stock levels in other stores, manage deliveries or request stock.
