In a nutshell we sell Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365, a bundle of enhancements, and third party solutions with a side of exceptional product support and training.

The Role Overview:

The successful candidate will take the Technical Consultant role within the Managed Services team for a leading Microsoft Dynamics NAV / 365 Business Central Gold partner. They will use their product experience and expert troubleshooting skills to ensure each customer has and Extraordinary Customer Experience.

This interesting and varied role will require contact with a wide variety of customers and teams world-wide. You will become a subject matter expert and provide advice to customers and other teams.

The skills acquired and used will cover the best and fastest growing ERP platform in the market. The training given along with the skills you already possess will equip you for this ever-changing position with real opportunity to progress.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for delivering Dynamics NAV technical consultancy

  • Technical architecture advice when required

  • Reviewing technical design documents

  • Investigate problems with Dynamics NAV software on customer’s systems at a technical level

  • Identify both functional and system (code level) problems

  • Analyse bugs and identify necessary development required to functional or data fix various problems

  • System health checks (infrastructure) etc.

  • Working with the various teams to provide customer proposal for new implementations as well as migrations from on-premise to the cloud.

  • Performing or assisting with technical upgrades for both the software and platform level

  • Contributing support to the organisation by documenting complex technical issues and resolutions via various knowledge transfer mediums.

  • Management of demanding customer situations, coordinating and participating in conference calls, providing documented solutions and ensure satisfactory results to customers.

  • Becoming a subject matter expert and using the knowledge to provide assistance to other colleagues

  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV architecture and cloud deployment knowledge

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV development background

  • Excellent consultancy and client facing skills

  • Multiple NAV version experience – 2009 to 2018, Business Central, etc.

  • Cloud deployment experience, primarily Azure

  • Knowledge on setting up and supporting a Docker based environments

  • Understanding of various Dynamics NAV supported web service technologies, SOAP, ODATA with both XML and JSON formats.

  • SQL server configuration and ongoing maintenance and performance troubleshooting knowledge

  • Azure SQL knowledge is a bonus

You’ll need to be happy to work with, care for and support all users internally and externally. Not all responsibilities require prior experience as these can be trained as required.
